It is with great sadness, and also some relief and a deep sense of trust, that we are canceling Celest Fest 2026.

Refunds are being issued and may take a few days.

Here is the honest truth of how we got here. Over the years, we have been asking: how do we make this sustainable? We tried different models, different structures, different asks of our community. And what became clear is that the way Celest Fest has been built, with a small core team carrying an enormous amount of weight, is not a structure that can hold the vision we have for it.

This year, a number of people on that core team needed to step back and redirect their energy toward their own lives, families, and callings. We understand and honor every one of those choices. And when we sat with what remained, we realized we needed to do the same.

Celest Fest has always been a unique offering, never quite a festival nor a retreat. It is a model of something most of us have dreamed about: a village. A place where love leads, where people show up for each other, where the way we gather becomes the medicine. We still believe in that model. We are just beginning to understand that to build a true village, we have to start as one.

We also realized just how much we want to direct our energy toward getting our own land, raising our girls, building businesses, and creating the kinds of rooted, living communities that Celest Fest always pointed toward. So, like a river, we are redirecting.

We have no regrets about jumping into this adventure. Every gathering, every fire tended, every meal shared, every grief honored, every song lifted into the night sky was real. You made it real. We are sorry we could not hold to our commitment this year, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who said yes.
